Service the Computer Machine regularly

Computer needs to be serviced and maintained in order to give the best possible performance. Windows' Maintenance Wizard allows to set up a regular maintenance schedule. The Maintenance Wizard ensures that software is running checks the hard drive for problems and frees hard disk space.

It is advisable to set up the Maintenance Wizard to perform its tasks on a regular basis, most likely at night.

How to set up the Maintenance Wizard:

• Go to the Start menu.
• Select Programs , the Accessories, then System Tools, and Maintenance Wizard.
• Select Express in the dialogue box that appears to use the most common maintenance settings.
• Click Next.
• In the following window, select the time you'd like the maintenance to take place at, likely between 12 an 3 am.
• Clcik Finish.
